Rosen joins Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC’s The Last Word
Last night, Senator Jacky Rosen joined MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss the top issues at stake in her race that could determine the balance of power in the United States Senate.
WATCH:
Rosen laid out the contrast between her commitment to protecting Nevada seniors’ hard-earned benefits and her opponent Sam Brown’s extreme support for plans to force massive cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and even threaten to phase them out entirely in five years. Brown would also be a vote to repeal the new law that caps the price of insulin at $35/month and allows Medicare to negotiate for lower drug costs – which he calls “a big loss for the American people.”
WATCH:
Rosen also highlighted what’s at stake this November when it comes to reproductive rights. While the vast majority of Nevadans support a woman’s right to choose, Sam Brown has a decade-long anti-abortion record that includes pushing to ban abortion without exceptions for rape or incest, leading the local chapter of an anti-abortion organization, and supporting efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade.
